We met around 2015 through mutual friends but didn’t develop a relationship just yet. In 2017, I (Isabelle) was encouraged to “shoot my shot” through Twitter messages and from there, began a friendship. However, at the time I had a crush on Jose, but he only saw me as a friend (womp womp). Two years later, Jose randomly reached out to me asking if I wanted to go to a Switchfoot concert, remembering that I was one of the few people he knew that liked their music. I was reluctant at first, but then agreed to go. After the show, He realized that he liked me, and I secretly still had a crush on him. A month later we began dating. FIVE YEARS LATER, through long distance and growing up together, we felt ready to get married. Here we are today :)
